Locking Abusive User Accounts?
Monday, October 22nd, 2007 by Steven S. -- Product DesignI just wanted to quickly deal with a rumor floating around that we are locking abusive user accounts on Grupthink. The fact is, we are, absolutely, locking accounts on Grupthink. The infractions deserving this penalty may be abusing other members, violating our terms, or simply spamming. In fact, due to our laziness and poor communication skills, offending accounts will be locked down without warning and in most cases that condition will be irrevocable. Have fun and respect your fellow grupies!

I think that it’s fair for the moderators of Grupthink to use their own sound judgment in order to come to the conclusion that an individual is causing such a ruckus that they need to find another outlet for their energy. This is not the only website where you can vocalize your opinions and relatively converse with others of like or unlike minds.
That said, I think some people are misunderstood, and may unjustly be locked down, but these cases are so rare and unlikely, at this point, that I can’t imagine the moderators locking out a person who wasn’t seriously causing a problem.
I do think, however, that a list of locked-down users should be made available to other Grupies, so that commentary can be made on the justification of the lockdown.

Still i dont see the reason for blocking me?

Really? I’ve been seeing reason after reason since you and Raichile got in a pissing match oh so many moons ago. It’s not like you weren’t told time and time again that your behavior was counterproductive and only served to decrease the quality of the grupthink experience. I’ve seen a few instances where you actually submitted something of value, but it is far outweighed by the times where you, to use a metaphor, shat directly into the Internet. If you can’t contribute anything of value, either don’t post or GTFO.

Nothing from what are you saying is true. raichile who started and his puppets. after that the The Evil GuyS grouped, and they were trying to finish it. + steven said for more than once that no one can be blocked and he blocked me. and after blocking me he announced it and said
“locked down without warning ”
Now all of the grupies know isn’t this a warning??
I didn’t do anything wrong in GT!!
i was defending the freedom of peach which GT doesn’t have any freedom!!
And WHY are you telling me to GTO i am already out
SO FU## YOU BITCH
+ the true reason of blocking me that i need just 2000 points i would be in the top grupies but the admins kicked me out!!!
+ i need all of my topics back so why you dont people delete my account and my topics and answers too?

G_Grupie, aka Hazem, everyone on here knows you have many, many accounts, so just use one of the other accounts, like Gonzo or something.
